Ms. Tyme Nunn was born and raised in North Carolina, but she recently relocated to Durham and is loving everything that Bull City has to offer. Tyme attended Meredith College where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, as well as her Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Kentucky. As far as she can remember, Ms. Tyme has always had a passion for advancing education and bringing people and communities together. Prior to joining the DNS team, her work was centered on child welfare and education policy, as well as working within Wake County school systems and communities to address educational barriers and inequities through advocacy, individualized support, and relationship-building. In her free time, you can find Ms. Tyme spending time with family and friends, exploring local restaurants, dancing, and playing soccer.
